The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
