The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
