The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
