The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
