Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Has the news of the overwhelming event reached you? 1 On that Day faces shall be humbled, 2 troubled and tired as a result of their deeds in the past. 3 (Yet) Going into the blazing fire. 4 Drinking from a boiling spring, 5 They will have no food other than bitter and thorny fruit 6 which will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger. 7 However, on that day the faces of other people will be happy. 8 well-pleased with [the fruit of] their striving, 9 In a high Garden. 10 wherein they shall hear no vain talk. 11 Therein shall be a spring running! 12 And within it are couches placed on high, 13 Goblets set, 14 And arranged carpets. 15 and carpets outspread. 16 Do they never reflect on the camels and how they were created, 17 how heaven was lifted up, 18 how the mountains were hoisted, 19 how the earth was outstretched? 20 Therefore advise; indeed you are a proclaimer of advice. (The Holy Prophet is a Remembrance from Allah.) 21 You are not a watcher over them; 22 But if any turn away and reject Allah,- 23 Allah will punish them with the greatest punishment. 24 Truly, to Us is their return; 25 then upon Us shall rest their reckoning. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
