Dawn (Al-Fajr)
30 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Night (Al-Layl) before The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the dawn, 1 And the Ten Nights, 2 by the even, and the odd, 3 and by the night when it departs. 4 Is there in this an oath for one endowed with understanding? 5 Dost thou not consider how thy Lord dealt with (the tribe of) A'ad, 6 (The people of) Aram, possessors of lofty buildings, 7 The like of which was not built in the cities, 8 and with [the tribe of] Thamud, who hollowed out rocks in the valley? 9 And with Firaun, who used to crucify. 10 [All of] whom oppressed within the lands 11 And increased therein the corruption. 12 so your Lord unleashed on them the scourge of punishment: 13 Lo! thy Lord is ever watchful. 14 Now, as for man, when his Lord trieth him, giving him honour and gifts, then saith he, (puffed up), "My Lord hath honoured me." 15 But when He tests him by straitening his sustenance, he says: “My Lord has humiliated me.” 16 No indeed, but you show no kindness to the orphan, 17 And do not urge one another to feed the needy. 18 Why do you take away the inheritance of others indiscriminately 19 and why do you have an excessive love of riches? 20 Nay! When the earth is pounded to powder, 21 and your Lord comes with the angels, rank upon rank, 22 And on that Day hell will be brought [within sight]; on that Day man will remember [all that he did and failed to do]: but what will that remembrance avail him? 23 He will say: "Ah! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my (Future) Life!" 24 Then on that Day Allah will chastise as none other can chastise; 25 And none will bind [as severely] as His binding [of the evildoers]. 26 (To the righteous soul will be said:) "O (thou) soul, in (complete) rest and satisfaction! 27 Return to your Lord, well-pleased (with him), well-pleasing (Him), 28 Join My servants. 29 yea, enter thou My paradise!" 30
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
