The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By oath of the sun and its light 1 By the moon when it followeth it, 2 Consider the day as it reveals the world, 3 By the night when it envelopeth it, 4 By the Firmament and its (wonderful) structure; 5 and the earth and all its expanse! 6 And by Nafs (Adam or a person or a soul, etc.), and Him Who perfected him in proportion; 7 And inspired it (with conscience of) what is wrong for it and (what is) right for it. 8 Indeed successful is the one who made it pure. 9 And he who confines it will surely come to grief. 10 Thamud (people) denied (their Prophet) through their transgression (by rejecting the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism, and by following polytheism, and by committing every kind of sin). 11 when the most wretched of them uprose, 12 So the Noble Messenger of Allah said to them, “Stay away from the she camel of Allah, and from its turn to drink.” 13 But they called him a liar and slaughtered her, therefore their Lord crushed them for their sin and levelled them (with the ground). 14 And He (Allah) feared not the consequences thereof. 15
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
