The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By oath of the night when it covers 1 by the day when it appears radiant, 2 By Him Who hath created the male and the female, 3 Certainly, your efforts and deeds are diverse (different in aims and purposes); 4 We shall facilitate the path to bliss 5 And believes in Al-Husna. 6 We will ease him toward ease. 7 And as for him who is niggardly and considers himself free from need (of Allah), 8 And disbelieveth in goodness; 9 We will facilitate for him the difficult end. 10 And what will his wealth benefit him when he goes down (in destruction). 11 Surely it is for Us to show the Right Way, 12 And most surely Ours is the hereafter and the former. 13 I have now warned you of the Blazing Fire, 14 in which none shall be roasted except the most wretched sinner, 15 who denied [the truth], and turned away. 16 And away from it shall be kept the one who guards most (against evil), 17 Who gives away his wealth, purifying himself 18 And have in his mind no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return, 19 Except as seeking (to fulfil) the purpose of his Lord Most High. 20 And presently he shall become well pleased. 21
Almighty Allah's Truth.
