The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the night when it covers the day, 1 And [by] the day when it appears 2 And the creating of the male and the female, 3 Verily, [O men,] you aim at most divergent ends! 4 We shall facilitate the path to bliss 5 And (in all sincerity) testifies to the best,- 6 observe piety, and believe in receiving rewards from God. 7 But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient, 8 And who belieth the Good, 9 We will make smooth for him the path for evil; 10 And what will his wealth benefit him when he goes down (in destruction). 11 Surely, in Our hands is guidance, 12 and to Us belong the Next Life and the present. 13 I have warned you about the fierce blazing fire 14 where none shall burn except the most wicked, 15 even he who cried lies, and turned away; 16 One who fears God shall be kept away from it -- 17 Those who spend their wealth for increase in self-purification, 18 not as payment for favours received, 19 But only seeking the Countenance of his Lord the Most High. 20 And he is going to be satisfied. 21
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
