Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By oath of the late morning, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
