Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the glorious morning light; 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc.)? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
