Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the white forenoon 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
