Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
