The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Wherefore as to the orphan, be thou not unto him overbearing. 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
