Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the morning brightness, 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
