The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the morning hours 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
