Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the morning hours 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
