Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the morning brightness 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
