Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the early hours of morning, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
