Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
