The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the morning hours 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11
