Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the morning hours 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
