Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
