The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 And indeed, in time will thy Sustainer grant thee [what thy heart desires,] and thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
Almighty God's Truth.
