Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 And He found you poor, and made you rich (selfsufficient with selfcontentment, etc.)? 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
