Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
