Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11
