Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Have We not expanded thee thy breast?- 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 the burden that weighed down thy back? 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 Surely with difficulty is ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So, when you have finished (your prayer), labor (in supplication), 7 And strive to please thy Lord. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
