Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Have We not lifted up your heart, 1 And taken off from you your burden, 2 that had well-nigh broken your back? 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 Surely with difficulty is ease. 5 Indeed with hardship is ease. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
