Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

۞ Have We not lifted up your heart, 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 Which weighed down your back? 3 have We not given you high renown? 4 Surely with difficulty is ease. 5 Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8
