Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

۞ Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, 1 And relieve you of the burden – 2 Which had broken your back? 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 So, when you are free, strive hard, 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
