Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 The which did gall thy back?- 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 Surely with difficulty is ease. 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 and be devoted to your Lord's service. 8
