Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up your breast 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 Which weighed down your back? 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
