Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 relieved you of the burden 2 that weighed down your back? 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 verily, with every hardship comes ease! 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
