Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 Which weighed down your back? 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 So verily, with the hardship, there is relief, 5 surely, with every hardship there is ease. 6 So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
