Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 that weighed down your back? 3 And exalted for you your esteem? 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]. 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
