Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not opened your breast for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him))? 1 And removed from you your burden, 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And raised high your fame? 4 Surely with difficulty is ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship]. 7 and to your Lord turn [all] your attention. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
