Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 And removed from thee thy burden 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And We have exalted your remembrance for you. 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
