The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

I CALL TO witness the Fig and the Olive, 1 and Mount Sinai, 2 and by this secure land, 3 Certainly We created man in the best make. 4 Then brought him down to the lowest of the low, 5 Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not Allah the Best of judges? 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
