The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the fig, by the olive, 1 by Mount Sinai 2 and this land secure! 3 We have created the human being in the best form 4 then We cast him down as the lowest of the low, 5 Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not Allah the best of the Judges? 8
