The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Recite: In the Name of thy Lord who created, 1 Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). 2 Read, for your Lord is most beneficent, 3 Who taught by the pen, 4 Taught man what he did not know. 5 Despite this, the human being still tends to rebel 6 That he thinketh himself independent! 7 Surely! Unto your Lord is the return. 8 What thinkest thou? He who forbids 9 a worshipper from praying? 10 Bethinkest thou, if he is himself guided, 11 or if he commands others to maintain piety!? 12 Do you see how he has denied the truth and turned away from it? 13 Does he not know that Allah does see? 14 Let him beware! If he desist not, We will drag him by the forelock,- 15 the lying, rebellious forehead! 16 So, let him call upon his way! 17 We shall summon the guards of Hell. 18 No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
