The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Recite: In the Name of thy Lord who created, 1 created the human from a (blood) clot. 2 Read, for your Lord is most beneficent, 3 Who taught by the pen, 4 Taught man what he did not know. 5 And yet, but yet man is rebellious, 6 Because he sees himself free from want. 7 Indeed, to your Lord is the returning. 8 Have you seen him who restrains 9 A slave (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) when he prays? 10 What will happen if the praying person is rightly guided 11 or enjoins true piety? 12 Have you thought that if he denies and turns away, 13 Did he not know that God sees? 14 Nay! If he (Abu Jahl) ceases not, We will catch him by the forelock, 15 a lying, sinful forelock. 16 Then let him summon his council, 17 We also shall call the infernal guards. 18 Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14) ۩ 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
