The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca. First revelation of the Quran before The Pen (Al-Qalam)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Read! In the name of your Lord, who created: 1 He created man from a clot of blood. 2 Read and your Lord is Most Honorable, 3 who has taught [man] the use of the pen 4 taught man what he did not know. 5 Indeed, surely the human is very insolent 6 for he believes himself to be self-sufficient. 7 Surely! Unto your Lord is the return. 8 What do you think? Have you seen he who forbids 9 A slave (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) when he prays? 10 Have you thought, if he had been on guidance 11 or enjoins true piety? 12 What will happen if the prohibiting rejects the Truth and turns away from it!? 13 Is he then unaware that Allah seeth? 14 Let him know that if he does not desist, We shall certainly drag him by his forelocks, 15 A lying, sinful forehead. 16 So, let him call upon his way! 17 We, will call the Zabania (the harsh angels of Hell). 18 By no means! Obey not thou him. Continue to adore, and continue to draw nigh. ۩ 19
Almighty God's Truth.

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
