In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
READ IN THE name of your Lord who created, 1 created the human from a (blood) clot. 2 Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,- 3 Who taught (to write) with the pen 4 The One Who taught man all what he did not know. 5 No indeed; surely Man waxes insolent, 6 for he believes himself to be self-sufficient. 7 Verily unto thy Lord is the return. 8 Have you seen one who prevents 9 a servant when he prays -- 10 Tell me, if he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is on the guidance (of Allah)? 11 or bade to godfearing -- 12 Hast thou considered whether he may [not] be giving the lie to the truth and turning his back [upon it]? 13 Does he not realize that God sees him? 14 No indeed; surely, if he gives not over, We shall seize him by the forelock, 15 his lying, sinful forelock. 16 Then let him call his associates; 17 We will call the angels of Hell. 18 No, indeed; do not obey him! Prostrate and come nearer (to Allah). ۩ 19
