In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Read (Prophet Muhammad) in the Name of your Lord who created, 1 Createth man from a clot. 2 Read and your Lord is Most Honorable, 3 who taught by the Pen, 4 Taught man what he did not know. 5 Nay! man is most surely inordinate, 6 for he thinks himself self-sufficient. 7 Lo! unto thy Lord is the return. 8 Have you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) seen him (i.e. Abu Jahl) who prevents, 9 a servant when he prays -- 10 Have you thought, if he had been on guidance 11 or is concerned with God-consciousness? 12 Hast thou considered whether he may [not] be giving the lie to the truth and turning his back [upon it]? 13 Did he not know that God sees? 14 No! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock - 15 A lying, sinful forelock! 16 Let him call on his associates for help 17 We will call the angels of Hell. 18 No indeed! Do not obey him, but prostrate yourself and come closer to God. ۩ 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
