The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists), 1 created man from a clot [of blood]. 2 Read! Your Lord is the Most Bountiful One 3 Who has taught (the writing) by the pen [the first person to write was Prophet Idrees (Enoch)]. 4 Taught man what he did not know. 5 Indeed, surely the human is very insolent 6 for he thinks himself self-sufficient. 7 Surely to your Lord is the return. 8 Hast thou seen him who dissuadeth 9 a worshipper from praying? 10 Have you seen if he is upon guidance 11 Or enjoins Righteousness? 12 Tell me if he (the disbeliever, Abu Jahl) denies (the truth, i.e. this Quran), and turns away? 13 Does he not know that God observes all things? 14 Indeed, if he does not desist, We will seize him by the forelock, 15 A lying, sinful forelock! 16 So, let him call upon his way! 17 We will call the guards of hell. 18 No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
