Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

We have indeed sent down the Qur’an in the Night of Destiny. 1 And what shall teach thee what is the Night of Power? 2 The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months. 3 Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees, 4 All peace is that night until the rise of dawn. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
