Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The disbelieving People of the Book(s) and the polytheists would not have left their religion until the clear proof came to them. 1 a Messenger (Muhammad) from God, reciting to them parts of the purified, 2 Wherein are discourses eternal. 3 Now those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime did break up their unity [of faith] after such an evidence of the truth had come to them. 4 And they were commanded not but that they should worship Allah, keeping religion pure for him, as upright men, and that they should establish prayer and give the poor-rate, and that is the right religion. 5 The disbelievers among the People of the Book and the pagans will dwell forever in hell; they are the worst of all creatures. 6 (And) lo! those who believe and do good works are the best of created beings. 7 Their reward is – with their Lord – everlasting Gardens of Eden beneath which rivers flow, in which they will abide for ever and ever; Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him; this is for one who fears his Lord. 8
