The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
