The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 That day people will proceed separately to be shown their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
